We are recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to work with our small and friendly team at our Ecclesall Road restaurant.

Family run, Turnip & Thyme serves British favourites and comfort food classics, perfect for enjoying with family and friends; with an emphasis on using seasonal ingredients locally sourced and served in a cosy and relaxed setting.

What you’ll be doing

• As a kitchen porter, you’ll be making sure the back of house area is always kept at a high standard of cleanliness.
• You’ll be ensuring our chefs have everything they need to make our fresh dishes.
• You’ll help to label and store deliveries correctly.
• You’ll be working quickly to prep fresh food in a busy kitchen.
• Maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene.
• Taking responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.

What we’re looking for:

• Enthusiastic about delivering great customer experiences through good food.

• Adheres to all statutory requirements including food safety hygiene.
